There’s “change” and there’s “true change.”

True change isn’t easy and many smart people struggle with issues of weight loss, fitness and personal development. Sometimes they know what to do, but they just don’t do it. Other times they can’t see past their current view of reality to conceive an extraordinary life.

I remember at age 40 looking at a picture of the 32-year old me. “Wow,” I thought. I looked good, fit and strong. So why was it that the 32-year old me picked apart her body? Why was she not happy with it? Better question, why was I still “picking” eight years later?

It got me to consider where else I picked. Ah yes, there it is. And another. In my quest for perfection I did not have the capacity to appreciate all that I had experienced, achieved…all that I was. I was living an ordinary life of “not good enough,” “if only…” and “I’ll be happy, satisfied when…”

Since then I’ve journeyed to find the extraordinary. Since then I’ve learned to surrender perfection (most days) and truly appreciate where I am. This doesn’t stop me from pursuing dreams and accomplishing goals. I don’t have to be dissatisfied with myself to be motivated. From where did that ridiculous notion originate?

I had a woman tell me that the thought of being extraordinary feels beyond reach. I think that’s because when it comes to wellness people are steeped in the ordinary: calorie counting, denial, mundane exercise and daily weigh-ins.

Sometimes it takes an outsider to help us see our extraordinary selves. On our own we tend to run through the same tapes in our heads and live out the same scripts. As they say, we do the same thing expecting a different result.

I help my clients focus on the extraordinary: to develop an inspiring vision of where they want to be, of who they really are and what’s possible. I help them to trust what they already know and turn it into a better result.

I’m not saying food and exercise are unimportant. But there’s a lot more to it. And what it all leads to is what I call Physical Wealth: having the energy, confidence, health and vitality to live the life you’re meant to have every single day.

My purpose is to help you have that.
